Our Story
Becoming first-time parents was a whirlwind of emotions for us, filled with love, laughter, and sleepless nights. We dived into parenting headfirst, armed with books, birthing classes, a perfectly arranged nursery, and advice from experienced friends.
We thought we had it all figured out.
As we adapted to our new routine, our baby girl reached the milestone of starting solid foods at eight months old. It was during this period that an unexpected event reshaped our lives and led to the creation of infantCPR.com.
One afternoon, a conversation with a nurse friend changed everything. She detailed the steps to take if a baby chokes, including how to deliver back blows and clear an obstruction. It was eye-opening—we had never taken a CPR or choking relief class.

Not even a week later, our worst fear came to life. While our baby girl was munching on a piece of apple, she suddenly went silent. We noticed her turning blue and acted quickly, flipping her over and delivering back blows. After several attempts, the piece of apple dislodged, and our baby started breathing again.
The incident was terrifying.
It made us question—what if we hadn't spoken to our nurse friend? What if we didn't know what to do? We realized many parents, like us, might not prioritize CPR training. Our research confirmed this: countless parents and caregivers confessed they hadn't taken CPR or choking relief classes and felt unprepared for emergencies.
The main barrier? Convenience. Traditional CPR courses require time that busy parents just don't have. After kids, it's hard to check things off our lists.
